Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Pips2 iOS app. Pips2 is a domino logic puzzle app with original Pips2 boards. It explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how to contact us about privacy.

Information We Collect

When you use online features, we create an anonymous player profile with a generated player ID, display name, selected avatar, and a secure sign-in credential stored on your device. This lets the app save your progress and connect your results to the same player profile.

We collect gameplay information needed to operate the app, such as puzzle ID, mode, difficulty, completion status, solve time, score, rankings, Battle results, and player statistics.

If you send puzzle feedback or contact support, we collect the information you choose to provide. We also keep limited service logs needed to secure, operate, and troubleshoot the app.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide gameplay, save progress and stats, operate leaderboards and Battles, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, protect the service, and improve Pips2.

We do not sell personal information or use your information to track you across apps or websites for advertising.

Public Features

If you use a leaderboard or join a Battle, your display name, selected avatar, score, solve time, rank, and Battle results may be visible to other players. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your display name or feedback.

Data Retention and Your Choices

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

You can update your display name and avatar in the app. You can permanently delete your anonymous player profile and associated data from Settings using Delete Player Data. You may also contact us to ask about accessing or correcting your player data. We may need to verify your request before making changes.

Service Providers

We may use service providers to host, secure, and operate Pips2. They may process information only as needed to provide those services for us.

Children

Pips 2 is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service can guarantee complete security, but we work to keep Pips2 safe and reliable.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Pips2 changes. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the latest version took effect.
