What Is The NYT Pips Archive?
The NYT Pips Archive is a date-based collection of past official Pips puzzles. Use it when you want to replay a puzzle from a specific day instead of loading a random board.
The Pips Archive is built for players who remember a date, missed a daily puzzle, or want to replay a specific official Pips challenge. Pick a calendar date, choose a difficulty, and jump straight back into that board.
Archive entries are organized by date and difficulty, so you can move through past puzzles without searching through scattered answer pages or unrelated hints.
Choose a date from the archive picker, select Easy, Medium, or Hard, then press Load. If the selected difficulty is available for that day, the puzzle loads directly into the same playable board experience.
Use Previous Date and Next Date when you want to browse the collected archive in order. Dates are based on the official puzzle data collected by Pips2.
