What Pips2 Publishes

Pips2 creates original generated Pips-style boards for unlimited play, Pips2 Daily challenges, Battles, and the iOS app. The generator and solver are part of the Pips2 project and are used to validate playable board layouts.

The Today, Archive, Hints, and Answers sections may identify or reference Pips puzzles originally published by The New York Times. These sections are provided as independent replay, reference, and solution tools, and link players to the original New York Times Pips game where appropriate.

Editorial and Attribution Standards

We aim to label original Pips2 puzzles separately from puzzles published by third parties, identify the source when a page refers to a New York Times puzzle, and avoid language that implies sponsorship or official status. Pages are updated when puzzle data, product behavior, or attribution changes.

Corrections and Rights Requests

To report an error, request an attribution correction, or raise a copyright or trademark concern, email contact@pips2.com with the affected URL and enough information for us to review the request. We review good-faith notices and may correct, restrict, or remove material when appropriate.
